We went to Kananaskis to go looking for wild Strawberries. I mean to go hiking. No, really it was to look for berries. We hiked the Chester Lake Trail in August last year and found Strawberries in abundent supply all along the trail and hoped to do so again on this trip. Unfortunately the trail to Chester was closed due to Bear activity, so we did the Burstall Pass trail instead. The good news is that Burstall is also beautiful, and there were many berries to be found there as well!
